Refund policy

We want you to love your order from The Howls. If something isn’t right, please review our return guidelines below before sending anything back.
1. Eligibility
We accept returns of eligible items within 30 days from the order date.
Returned items must be:
- Unused, unwashed, and in sellable condition
- Free from dog hair, stains, odors, or damage
- In the original packaging with all tags attached
Returns that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted or refunded.
2. Final Sale Items
Certain items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Sale items
- Dog accessories (for hygiene and safety reasons)
- Personalized or custom items

3. Return Authorization
All returns must be authorized in advance.
To request a return, email info@thehowls.us with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, photos, and the reason for your request.
We will confirm eligibility and provide instructions on where to send your return.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
4. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We do not provide prepaid return labels.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.
5. Exchanges
We currently do not process direct exchanges.
If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process above and place a new order for the replacement item once your return has been accepted.
Our team is happy to help facilitate the new order if needed.
6. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll receive an email confirming approval or rejection.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (or as store credit, if offered) within 7–21 business days after we receive your return.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
7. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact info@thehowls.us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographic proof.
We will replace the item whenever possible. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued once the return is approved.
8. Shipping Fees and Delays
Original shipping fees are non-refundable. We do not refund shipping costs or provide compensation for carrier delays or delivery issues outside our control.
